This role is responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance on our equipment and tooling.

  • Ensure that both internal and external customer requirements are met
  • Be proactive in improving existing processes to prevent equipment/tooling breakdowns
  • Continually improve process, product and delivery performance, with the objective of improving the service provided by the Maintenance department and meeting departmental KPI’s

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and ensure safe working practices at all times
  • Perform equipment repair in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Complete equipment Preventative Maintenance on time
  • Ensure adherence to Quality Systems (ISO and TS systems)
  • Ensure housekeeping is in good order and 5S standards are followed consistently

What we are looking for

You must be a time served and qualified maintenance engineer with an electrical bias, and have the ability to excel in a fast paced environment with effective time management. If you are proactive and self motivated with the ability to work under pressure you’ll fit right in!

Essential criteria:

Qualifications:            17th or 18th Edition and Level 3 NVQ

Experience:                 Minimum 4 years electrical and/or mechanical experience

Desirable criteria:      hydraulic experience and background in a manufacturing environment

Hours: 40 hours per week on a 3xshift working pattern (day, back and night shift)
