OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB / KEY RESULT AREAS (Outline a summary of the role)

Achieve and understand customer needs

Ensure allocated accounts are performing within agreed financial and strategic

targets agreed with the Commercial Director

Maintain and own Key Account scorecard

Create and execute the annual Key Account Plan

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Specify as required)

  • Work as part of the Key Account Team liaising and working with all internal department

including Customer Service, Technical, Production Planners and Production staff

  • Achieve KPI’s set by Commercial Director
  • Assist the Commercial Director in preparing sales budgets and targets as required
  • Work with the CPD plan led by HR and Commercial Director, also focussing on your own PDP
  • By Friday each week share your diary for the following week
  • Target visits as per shared diary agreement
  • All prices and quotes for customers:o On official headed templateo Using cost breakdown analysis sheet for analysiso Quotes to be centrally saved in company folder on shared drive
  • Represent the company’s activity on LinkedIn. At least one per month. While being sensitive to confidential customer information.
  • Minutes of every meeting to be shared to key contacts within 24 hours.
  • Should be aware when customer is coming in for proof. Agree with technical level of Account Management support required.
  • Carry out at least 2 relationship building activity per month (lunch, dinner, events) – post covid dependent
  • Weekly sales meeting with Commercial Director
  • Review of POD scorecard weekly each Friday with Commercial Director
  • Communicate effectively to maintain and work cross-functionally with internal departments
  • Assist with training and support new staff
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required

It represents the main responsibilities expected of the role holder. In addition to the above the role holder will be expected to undertake all reasonable requests as requested by the managementteam.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 per year
